Description
This course explores resilient leadership through the lens of the extraordinary Antarctic expedition of Sir Ernest Shackleton and the timeless principles of Scripture. Topics will include servant and visionary leadership, courage in the storm, putting people before the mission, building team unity, perseverance, hope, and leaving a legacy. Upon completion of this course, students will possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to faithfully lead others through uncertainty, adversity, setbacks, and change. Students will develop a personal theology of resilient leadership based on their faith tradition and system of beliefs. This is a required course for the Advanced Chaplain Certificate program.
